Live backend preview

A working marketplace backend, set up for Metzion

Mercur 2.3 on Medusa 2.21, seeded with seven invented Israeli makers, prices in shekels with 18% VAT, commission rules and four weeks of orders. Everything on this page talks to the live API, the same one your frontend would call.

Log in as the operator or as a supplier

Both panels ship with Mercur and run from the backend itself. We extend them for Metzion without forking. This is a shared demo, so anything you change is visible to others and the data resets from time to time.

Store API

What your frontend calls

Offers come with the supplier, the master product and a calculated price including VAT. Run it:

GET /store/offers?limit=3&region_id=…&fields=…
Follow one order

One cart, three suppliers, one payment

Pick a few items from different makers and place a real test order. You will see every call a storefront makes, how checkout splits into one order per supplier, and what each supplier earns after commission. Payment uses a test provider, nothing is charged.

What is already here, and what we would build

Mercur covers the marketplace. Israel needs a few more pieces.

Out of the box

  • Supplier sign-up, approval, suspension and teams with roles
  • Shared catalog with offers, product review queue and change history
  • Order split per supplier, with payment allocated across the orders
  • Commission rules by product, category, collection or supplier
  • Payout pipeline with a pluggable provider interface
  • Returns, refunds, exchanges and order edits per supplier order
  • Reviews with moderation, price lists, promotions
  • Store, Vendor and Admin APIs with a typed client

Built for Metzion

  • Local payments and split payouts. Stripe does not onboard Israeli businesses, and Stripe Connect is the payout provider Mercur ships with. We connect an Israeli provider through the same interface.
  • VAT by supplier status. Exempt dealers charge no VAT, licensed dealers and companies do, and commission invoices always carry it.
  • Invoicing with allocation numbers. Business invoices from NIS 5,000 before VAT need one since June 2026.
  • Hebrew first. Hebrew and English content, and search that understands Hebrew prefixes.
  • Your services plugged in. Webhooks, an event stream and MCP tools for your AI layer.
